Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport is aware that scammers have cloned the airport’s phone number and are placing fraudulent calls that appear to originate from the airport to members of the public, some calls are offering free airline tickets.

These calls are not legitimate and are not associated with Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport or any of our airline partners. The airport does not make unsolicited phone calls offering free airline tickets, prizes, or travel promotions.

Officials urge anyone who receives one of these calls to hang up immediately and not provide personal, financial, or payment information. Individuals are also advised not to press any buttons, follow instructions provided by the caller, or return calls to any number shared during the scam.

Anyone who receives one of these fraudulent calls is strongly encouraged to report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/.

The airport is actively working with appropriate partners to address this issue and appreciates the public’s vigilance.
